Had some internet connection problems and uploading and general surfing have been a bit like the old dial-up days, all good again. It’s been a slow week on the Photographic front and even though the wind’s been up I’ve continued practising using my Macro Extension tubes plus a family pet(always good to fall back on). Been bouncing the flash off the ceiling and generally reading and re-reading Lighting 102 over at Strobist. I’ll be back their again pretty often as I get the theory down for getting the Off Camera Flash right
I thought this little critter was cool to let me put my lens up close, found out that he was lunch for a camera shy spider.
A night portrait of the Big Girl in the garden.
Plant Macro.
The Hungry Caterpillar – for the amount of flowers around this park, very little insect life. Maybe they’re more active in the morning?
Trying to manually focus on this guy is pretty hard, you think you have him and then he moves….. Maybe in the next couple of weeks I’ll get that Macro Lens that might focus a little easier than my old zoom.
Trying to get all of this guy sharp using the extension tubes is bit of a pain, either that or I might need to get5 my eyes tested. Part is in pretty good focus, just the rear of his body looks a little soft.
Speaking of Extension Tubes, The Kenko set. The middle one is 36mm and I have been stacking them all up.
Been playing with water tonight, just waiting for the memory card to download and I’ll add Tuesday’s Photo.
Project 365 – 74/79
