Photography Project 365 – 67

After finding a cool little video on “How to do Time-Lapse Photography” I decided now I have my new Phottix Remote cord (the one that let’s you set delay, interval etc etc) I’d give this a go.  Didn’t really pick the best location to have a go at Time Lapse and not knowing what to do with myself I tried it in short bursts. I know next time I try this I’ll shoot in Jpeg and let the camera sit in the one spot longer (note to self; Self, take fishing rod next time you try this.) Even better would be an additional camera that I could play with. The short little video consists of 157 Two second frames and you can see how my Sync settings in Lightroom has left a tell tale sign of a dust spot on my sensor. Didn’t really want to have to clone it out in 157 frames……That’s ok, I have my digital survival kit and the sensor is now clean, blame trying my Macro Extension Tubes for that spot.

Sorry. FLV player did not load.

Been fun trying something new  and I’ll be updating my hard drives and using this remote for more Time-Elapse and more likely Star Trail Photography. That one won’t be easy round my way, first you need no clouds, 2nd would be to start after Midnight so the Planes won’t leave light trails and then there’s just Light Pollution. Might have to head away from the Gold Coast for this one I think – though a shot of Surfers with Star Trails would look good.
